Thank you for your interest in St. Gerard Majella School. As a member of the Religious Teachers Filippini community, it has been my privilege to serve as principal of this school since 2000.  While conveniently located in the bustling city of Paterson, New Jersey, we at St. Gerard Majella School take pride in our small, family-focused, faith-filled learning environment.

I am so proud of everything our school has to offer its students. Do not let our small size fool you—our certified teachers employ 21st century educational practices, utilizing technological tools in every classroom and devices for each student.  Our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) program is for all students and is focused on enhancing student learning and developing problem solvers. St. Gerard School is Accredited from Cognia, a national school accrediting agency.

Perhaps what makes me most proud of our remarkable school are the things you cannot so readily see or measure: Our school is safe. Our students are respectful of one another. Our curriculum is individualized. Our faith-based instruction is at the heart of everything we do. Our families are involved. Our students are well loved and they pass that love on.
